Welcome to Sag Harbor
A trendy, beach-side haven for young professionals and those seeking old-world charm
Sag Harbor sits on the north end of the South Fork. It was once a major whaling port (and was even mentioned in Moby Dick) and attracted writers such as John Steinbeck and Spalding Gray due to its secluded nature. During the summer, coastline activities are plentiful on Gardiners Bay, Noyac Bay, and Sag Harbor Bay. Small, locally-owned shops, restaurants, and cafes line Main Street, which leads to the waterfront and the local favorite Windmill Beach.
Sag Harbor has a unique vibe that is all its own. With its coastal cottages and deep whaling history, this village is beloved by residents and visitors alike. It’s known for being the perfect place for the creative class and boasts a bustling commercial and artistic atmosphere. Once you step into the village, you’ll see Victorian-style homes, former sea captain houses and whaling cottages, and a well-preserved, historic downtown. The area is coastal New England at its finest and is regarded as one of the hidden gems of the northeast.

Residents love the amazing restaurants and bustling summer season and cherish the quiet family time in the off-season.

For upscale dining, Le Bilboquet caters to the Upper East Side fan base that their flagship location amassed and is a popular rendezvous spot for the rich and famous.
